Is I'm Here a dating web app?+
No. I'm Here is a social layer designed to help people make real connections in the room they're already in. At weddings that can mean friendship, shared interests, meeting the other side of the family, or occasionally something romantic — but dating isn't the focus.
Do guests have to pay?+
No. For weddings, you pay for the experience as part of your founding trial, so every guest gets full access without needing to buy anything.
Does everyone have to use it?+
Not at all — it's entirely optional, and guests who don't scan the code simply won't be part of it.
Is it suitable for every kind of wedding?+
Yes — same-sex, heterosexual, remarriages, non-traditional setups. There's no "bride's side / groom's side" built in; it's simply about helping your guests find who they'd get on with.
Do guests have to share their phone number?+
No. Guests can show interest and start talking without handing over any personal contact details upfront.
How does it actually work on the day?+
Guests scan a QR code, set up a quick profile with a few interest tags and a connection tag, and see everyone else in the room — each showing what they're open to. From there, guests can send a wave. When it's mutual, the chat opens up — right there in the browser, no app to download.
Is there an age limit?+
Yes — I'm Here is for guests aged 18 and over. Age is checked by date of birth at profile creation, so younger guests won't be able to set one up. Worth letting your wedding party know in advance, so no one's caught off guard on the day.
How will guests know how to use it?+
Table cards and QR signage explain it in a few words — scan, set up, see who's around. Most couples also have their host or MC give it a quick mention early in the evening, which is usually all it takes. We'll include a short script for that as part of your founding pack.
