This Cookie Policy explains how I’m Here (‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies across our marketing website (im-here.co.uk) and our web app (im-here.live).

2. THE WEB APP — IM-HERE.LIVE
The I’m Here web app uses essential cookies and browser storage only. These are required for the platform to function and cannot be disabled without breaking the service.
Essential Cookies
Short-lived session cookie (15 minutes): Keeps you signed in during an active venue session. Expires automatically when the session ends or after 15 minutes of inactivity.
Long-lived session cookie (30 days): Keeps you signed in if you choose to remain signed in across visits. You can clear this by signing out.
Security cookie: Helps protect the platform against fraud, cross-site request forgery, and unauthorised access. Required for secure operation.
Browser Local Storage
Cookie consent flag: A small non-sensitive item stored in your browser to record that you have seen and acknowledged the platform’s cookie notice. This does not contain personal data.
No advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking technologies are used within the web app. Because only essential cookies are used, a full consent-based cookie banner is not required for app access. An acknowledgement notice is displayed at the point of QR code scan.
3. THE MARKETING WEBSITE — IM-HERE.CO.UK
The marketing website uses essential cookies and, with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies. A cookie consent banner is displayed when you first visit the website. Non-essential cookies are not set until you have given your consent.
Essential Cookies
Required for the website to load and function correctly. These cannot be disabled.
Analytics Cookies — Google Analytics (with consent)
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our marketing website — which pages are viewed, how long people stay, and where they come from. This helps us improve the site.
Data collected is anonymised and aggregated. We do not use Google Analytics to identify individual visitors.
Google Analytics sets its own cookies, typically lasting up to 2 years.

Advertising Cookies — Google Ads and Meta (with consent)
We use Google Ads and Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) to run advertising campaigns. The Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags may be active on the marketing website to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and deliver relevant ads.

This tracking applies to the marketing website only. It is not present in the web app.
